About Us
As our name Tots n Teens Pediatrics implies, we treat tots, tweens and teens - children of all ages from the newborn upto 18 years young. Your care provider is Dr. Radhika S. Gopan, a Board Certified Pediatrician with several years of clinical experience. Dr. Gopan obtained a degree in medicine from Stanley Medical College in Chennai India, in 1988. Soon after medical school, Dr. Gopan's marriage took her to the exotic Middle East. After practicing in Oman and the United Arab Emirates, her family moved to the United States for Pediatric Residency in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Gopan also worked in South Carolina and Tennessee. The reputation of Wake County's School System made the family move to Cary, NC. The Gopan family has since made Morrisville their home. They hope to serve this community in the years to come!!Dr. Gopan can speak in addition to fluent English, her native language Tamil. She also speaks Hindi, some Arabic, and some medical Spanish. When she is not treating patients Dr. Gopan loves to read, practice Yoga, go bike riding and hiking. She has one bookworm daughter in college, and one almost grownup high-school girl who is a band geek. Her husband helps her manage her practice, loves stock trading and is the backbone of the Gopan family.
